Chester Majuta

Chester Majuta was born and raised in Francistown, Botswana, Africa. Chester Developed a love for music after listening to Shabba Ranks' Bedroom Bully tape. He started writing and performing a few songs locally getting closer to fulfilling his dream of "empowering youth through music". He released his debut Hip-Hop Ragga album "The Real Champion" (Produced by BK Proctor, Basement Records) on the 2nd January 2009 that got the "BOMU Awards" Best Ragga Album, 2009. Chester have worked with artists like BK Proctor, Prezbeats, Juju Monster, Bangu, Lizibo, Shanty Lo, Tucxbeats and many more to mention. In addition to being inspired by artists and musicians around the world, "Im also motivated by people in my community who recognize my talent and encourages me to use my skills to empower other youth".
