I've Uploaded my latest track called "Ceeki Breeki (Hardbass Anthem)". Now this bad boy is some good old hardbass that makes every muscle in your body move. Give it an listen, and maybe even leave an like and comment, that would be nice. Enjoy! ____________________________________________________ ABOUT ME: ____________________________________________________ Hi lad! I'm DJ80A. I'm dutch and here we speak english in an sort of "dunglish", which is english but some words are more germanic. So don't mind me if I mess my spelling up sometimes. My goal is to try to supply your ears with some awsome EDM/Electronic/RussianHardbass/Hardstyle/chillewave/ or just some mix of that stuff. I highly appreciate it if you comment, no matter what it is. I take critics seriously so I can make my songs a bit better and support is also always appreciated. If I don't upload something for an long time it means two thing: #1: Im lazy #2: Im preparing for an live concert. ____________________________________________________ HISTORY: ____________________________________________________ I started my music career small, not wanting to take any risks I kept my old jobs as an animator/programmer/engineer/ICT. I also started on MMJ using free packs only untill I scored 800 fans. By the time I uploaded my 3rd song I discoverd loudly with its amezing possebilities; There are more people on loudly than MMJ so I would make more fans, Loudly has crews in which you can work together, and also the option to upload song form forgein sources. The latter helped a lot as im not using MMJ anymore. I got interested in music form my animator app, which had some nice sounds you could add to your animation. I began to chillwave a lot and than moved on to Hardstyle and than Russian Hardbass. ____________________________________________________ HOW 2 DJ80A ____________________________________________________ Formula: Favorite genre(s) = Favorite music pack(s) + Favorite effect(s) = REAL GOOS SOUNDS + creativity OR Random mixing = Fresh, unfinished, track. (IF NOT SATISFIED: Return to former step) + thumbnail = finished song. When you make a song, don't think about others, think about yourself. Every genre has a large community now days so you will always get great results from songs. Idealy must make the typemof songs you "crave" when you make them. Like if u haven't listend to chillwave in a while and you constantly play chillwave in your head, then make some chillwave. If u get EDM in your head the next time, make EDM. Also.... When you just get started with making music, DON'T RISK YOUR CAREER OVER IT!!!!!!! If you dropped out of school, got rid of your job or anything like that to make music, stop. Go nack to your job, your not financially stable at such a moment. Just look at it as a hobby, do it in your free time ONLY. ONLY when you made some G O O D progress or are starting to make quite the money ONLY THEN you can scale down your normal job and take music as your source of income (like I do now). There have been people I knew from university that DROPPED OUT in expectation to get realy succesfull on sound cloud and make loads a money. 99% of the time they ended up homeless, in debt, and overall as 7 square meters of sh*t. If they hadn't dropped out of uni, then they mabye still could've got a real good job and become rich. So kiddies, the lession here is to not risk anything when you start with music. In the music world there is no Mr. Beast that suddenly became populair overnight. Here you need to take things slowly. If you still have a vision of "yeah I'm sure I'll stand out when in those filthy casuals", then dude: Get a life. You're not gonna make it like that. Over to how 2 get publicity: accept publishing songs for free or for a small price as long as it doesn't require you to do whole concerts or to make songs for others. Just so things like contacting local radio and paying them a small fee for them to play your songs. Or just have some nights at your local clubs/cafe's. That'll do as well. Just don't accept proposals of people who say: "this would give you some EXPOOOOOSURE". Exposure won't pay the water bill. Exposure doesn't guarantee anything. Its a pathetic excuse for people to tricl you into making things for free and get nothing in return for your labor. I've had tons a folks who contacted me via discord and said:"hEEEY xoxo I would LOVE to have you make a song for ME so I can play it at MY WEDDING" Me: "kay sure how much ur willing to pay?" Karen: "Oh no we don't pay, we will gove your EXPOOOOSUUUURE" Karen is typing. Blocked. If anyone says the word exposure, just insta block. No exceptions. They'll just try to scam you. Always make sure to get deals on contracts and make digital as well as paper copies of it. People can scam you or even try to sue you for making them "pay more then this (fake) contract here says". When making songs in groups, make sure to have your credit on it. If there's money to be made, set the deal of cash splitting on contract and make copies of it. Also make sure to time stamp the copies and the contracts themself. You're gonna need them when Karen#1379428 is gonna get you in court. For the publicity part, contact radio stations to play songs you already made (if your willing to pay a fee), have some try's at pubs and cafe's and make sure to get on as many socials as posseble. Just don't stress the unholy diarrhoea out of yourself.
Wait a minute!
