Meaney was brought up in New Orleans, Louisiana. He grew up in Bible Class singing in the Jr. Chiror. Playing drums and trumpet in the elementary school band and play the euphonium in Boles Jr High in Arlington, Texas when he moved to Texas in 2000. Even though growing up in a rough neighborhood as a child in New Orleans. Meaney’s Mother made sure to surround him with Positive people and Music. Meaney’s Mother didnt even allow him to listen to rap with foul language. She played only Jazz, Rnb, Oldies, Soul and Sang Opera. Meaney realized music was apart his life at the young age of 5 years old music would play a big part in life. Meaney and his friends use to have drum beat battles on old school books to see who was the best drummer was or who's gonna be first chair in the band cause you couldn't join band until the first grade. Even when Meaney’s mother would play music in the car he would come up with his own version of the song or him and his sister would put on shows for family and friends imitating great famous artist’s to the tee. Growing up in New Orleans Meaney was blessed to have music all around him from Jazz, Blues, Bounce, Street performers, Block Parties, Legendary House of Blues where he seen B.B.King proform and even brass or regular bands play in the streets. During the celebration the world know and love called Mardi Gras or Just Cause its a Tuesday. So music was engraved in Meaney really since he was born.
