Marla Becerra

Marialaura Becerra aka MARLA aka MarMar aka MarLaB A music lover , collecting records and playing instruments growing up in the southwest of Texas. My love for music began at a very young age. At 5yrs old my mom bought me my first turntable fisher price in a case . I owned my first record player and vinyl, In elementary school when I started to roller skate I would skate in my garage . My mom had a stereo but with an A track ....so I started to get creative and made mix tapes I recorded with my double tape deck stereo that had attached record player . I spent alot of time playing and pressing record then pause lol with song mixing excitement . As I grew up I was introduced to the DJ equipment and then put the mystery to rest . At the skate rink I always wondered how the dj made the songs sync or blend I would call it. I found answers to my questions when my friends started buying turntables and mixers to throw underground parties out in the deserts this started occurring in middle school into high school . I grew up in the RAVE scene and feel thankful for that rare opportunity as it was born . Music is the language used world wide that we can all connect and communicate without a doubt.
