I like making chill beats, jazz, hiphop sometimes I like making atmospheric classical tracks too I am Hispanic but born in Japan lol I am a professional orchestral player, and I like to remind people that you are not limited to whatever you can afford, take advantage of the microphone and be creative. Incorporate your own instruments, and if it sounds bad, you have effects as your friends lmao music that can spark emotion is the best music, and knowing how to do that with chords is the key Minor chords (ex. Cm, Dm or this case for MMJ lower case letters represent minor so c, d would be Cm and Dm) are usually sad sounding while Major chords (ex. C, D ) Are happy sounding here's a little bit of music theory if you have a piano, to make chords on the spot, simply go to any note (ex. Middle C) and count 4 notes up (including black notes) press the 4th one and from there count up 3 notes and press the 3rd one. you have made a C Major Triad! (3 spaces in between the first 2 notes, and 2 spaces in between the last 2 notes) So a C Major chord would be C,E,G !!!! And to make that a minor chord, you flat the middle note (a flat is a half step down, so one note down) and to make a 7th chord (these are kinda jazzy) start from your triad you made, and count 4 notes up from the last note. this applies to every single note on the piano! U CAN MAKE CHORDS NOW!!! You can learn how to play any instrument, or read music, or mix, but after you learn how to do those things, the last thing there is to do is experience life. What is the point of music with no emotion or experiences? Basically robots making music then.
