First look at Korg's new FM synthesiser

Korg have announced a new FM synth named 'opsix'. Coming in at €799 and available for shipping this December, the opsix uses classic FM synthesis with 6 operators.

The 5 available operator modes; FM, Ring Modulation, Filter, Filter FM and Wave Folder expand the previous possibilities of FM synthesis, while delivering 21 hand-picked waveforms with different overtone structures. There are 40 different algorithms plus the possibility of creating user algorithms, allowing limitless creativity when working out new types of sounds.

Additional features include a 16 step sequencer, arp with 7 patterns, 30 effect types and 500 sound memory locations.
